Antique Victorian Peridot & Pearl Twin Heart Arrow Brooch 9k Gold - C.1900

We are delighted to offer this enchanting antique Victorian twin heart peridot brooch made c.1900.

The brooch most wonderfully made in 9ct gold in the form of an arrow piercing two hearts. The central section presents two heart-shaped faceted peridots with a surrounding border of seed pearls, all intricately set and complemented with further embellishing on the top bow.

Distinctly Victorian and displaying all the signs of fine antique jewellery goldsmithing, this brooch is meticulously made. Each claw, mount and finely shaped setting are impressively fine and intricate; a testament to the goldsmith's skill and craftsmanship of the period.

On the reverse side, a C-clasp pin is present: this brooch would most certainly grace a jumper/jacket in the colder seasons and a blouse in the warmer months.
