I couldn''t resist this beautiful scent bottle from the regency period...it is made from tortoiseshell and has the most delicate and intricate silverwork pattern to the case, with a silver cartouche engraved with the owners initials CJ....it still retains the original glass scent bottle and stopper, although I am not tempted to try and open it, as glass can become fragile with age....excellent condition and a very fine item to own.
