An ornate French bronze gilt antique mantel clock in the Louis XVI style with laurel leaf swags, acanthus leaf moulding and ribbon and beaded detail standing on toupie shaped feet. The case has diamond design to the sides, and is surmounted with a porcelain urn which has white beaded detail and floral hand painted decoration with ivy border, and is finished with a finial.There are inset royal blue porcelain panels to the case, with beaded and gilt detail, and a finely painted landscape scene to the centre.
