A wonderful Silver and cut glass Whisky jug. This unusual and rare piece has a hobnail cut globe and shaft body, with applied handle. The handle features notch cutting and the neck is slice cut with central bands. The silver mount is hallmarked and has a elegant shaped pouring lip to the front. The lid is hinged and is finished with a stylish pierced thumb grip to the top. Whisky jugs are desirable and collectable items, a jug of these proportions could also double up as a small claret jug should one desire. Dimensions below.
