The Chatelaine case is English and made in the rococo style. The tapering body has a vacant cartouche to both sides and is finished with loops to the shoulders for the attaching chain. A wonderful collector's item for the sewing enthusiast, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes or splits to the silver. The scissors have blemishes associated with steel that has been in use for many years and commensurate with age.

Hallmarks :- Scissors are unmarked but test as silver and the sheath has clear and readable hallmarks.
