CONDITION REPORT:
In overall good antique condition, with typical signs of age and wear. The piece exhibits surface wear throughout, including age-related marks, scratches, and some imperfections. There is noticeable loss in the latch area, and the top shows splitting, dents, along with visible scratches and staining. A strip of wallpaper has been applied to the inside of the lid historically, presumably to cover the join in the planks. These imperfections are consistent with the age of the piece.
