The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15 jewel calibre 75 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Movado Factories, and it is all protected by an inner cover.
The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just the odd mark, nothing serious at all. The inside of the case back has the Movado logo of a hand holding a watch.

The lens looks good to the naked eye, it has a short light scratch but it is barely visible unless viewed through a jeweller’s loupe.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands. There is some marking and some age related patination but it is even across the dial. The luminous paint has been removed over the years.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
