Description

Antique Waltham half hunter pocket watch, 1903.

The watch has a 7-jewel Traveler grade stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 12,629,467 which dates it back to 1903. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, supplier of cases to Waltham UK. The case has engine turned detail to both the front and the back. The case is in good condition, just general light marking but nothing too serious.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
