Fine Pair Japanese Meiji Cloisonne Plates / Chargers. Meiji Period. Circa 1900.

Superbly rendered matching pair of cloisonne enamel plates with beautifully rendered foliage, flowers and bird. Lotus leaves and flower pod (Katydid) and bird speak aloud of symbiosis at the end of the summer, with insect nibbled leaves. In mirror finish. Beautiful colours and artwork*.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor surface marks. No enamel losses.

Dimensions:

Diameter = 30.5cm.

Depth = 3.5cm
