The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a ¾ plate stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding crown and loop.
The case is in good condition, just a couple of little marks to the side of the case but not too detrimental at all.

The acrylic lens has light marking but is very acceptable.
The dial is in lovely original condition with blued steel hands.
The watch comes with an antique single chain with graduated links, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a silver fob with rose gold wash detailing. The reverse of the fob has the wording, ‘CVCL 1909 Todmorden 3rd XI’, believed to relate to cricket.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
