A pair of charming porcelain scent bottles made by Minton c. 1840
The scent bottles are very pretty, clearly influenced by a Rococo Revival style that was all the rage in 1820-40 in England.
They are shaped as ewers with raised scroll handles and beautifully decorated with applied colourful flowers, delicate pink tint and gilt highlights to the rims. The stoppers are also profusely decorated with tiny encrusted flowers.
The scent bottles are unmarked, but there’s a few marked identical examples can be found online, so guaranteed to be genuine and authentic.
Dimensions: height – 12 cm, width - 6.4 cm
Condition: good condition without damage or restorations. There’s some typical losses to the applied décor here and there, but nothing drastic, please refer to photos to see.
