Description

A large sterling silver antique locket with a really lovely repoussé pattern of organic leaf and flower shapes to the front. The inside contains two amber-coloured acetates which make the insides look golden, though when removed the insides are silver too.

SIZE: Approximately 3.2 x 3.8cm not including the bail, 5.2cm total drop.

WEIGHT: 12.2g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver (tested).

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: The locket is in excellent antique condition with clasp and hinge in good working order and a nice chunky bail at the top.

ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
