Northern pine mid 19th century swedish painted chest circa 1870.

We are pleased to offer this northern region painted chest from sweden, featuring a yellow wash that allows the grain to show through underneath.

Featuring 4 drawers, shallow top drawer with a further 3 drawers of equal proportions, each fitted with a pair of ebonised knobs, further turned and ebonised mouldings running down the front of each side. Raised on 4 shaped legs. All drawers free running and ready for everyday use.

Minor losses and surface fading to paint effect.
