The shaped crown above the easily changed fabric backed decorative frieze with 6 hat and coat hooks and raised on 4 sugar barley twist supports. The interior having a raised and carved platform to support the blue & white vase which is held in place by 4 gilded brackets. The lower section having beautiful majolica tiles, the sides with vibrant vase and flower decoration, the front & back having blue ground with yellow and white leaf and shield tiles. The end stick stands having ornate gilded wrought iron with applied patrae and house the brass drip pans. The oval shaped base having carved decoration above small turned bun feet. The whole in very good condition, the vase has some damage associated with age and use. Although designed to be freestanding three of the coat hooks are easily removed to allow the hall stand to stand against a wall. Dimensions:- Max.Height…80’’/ 203cm. Width…42’’/ 107cm.
