Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated these Yellow Pearlware Tea Bowls to the 19th Century.
He fishes on a lake with a church, grand house and windmill set amongst trees in the background. The bowls finished with a small red banded foot rim, and standing on the conforming saucers, likewise decorated with banding and the fishing scene. The scenes set amongst a yellow ground.
Impressed for 'Sewell' The St Anthony's Pottery, Newcastle.
Date circa 1820.
