A good mid-19th century Tunbridge-ware DOUBLE Tea Caddy.

The lid is superbly inlaid with a marquetry image of Hever Castle, itself framed by an intricate marquetry border, typical of Tunbridge-ware. The interior is original and comprises of two cubic sections, each with its own marquetry inlaid lid, with each tea container retaining its original lead lining paper.

Date: c.1850-65

Dimensions: w: 8.5 inches. d: 4.5 inches. h: 4.5 inches. (21.5 x 11.5 x 11.5 cm).
