Art Deco 0.99 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1920

Description

0.99 carat is by far the rarest weight for a diamond as you get the visual benefit of a one carat stone, but for less. This wonderful old European cut - graded by IGI as H colour, VS1 clarity - is super white, bright and full of fire and brilliance. The diamond is secured in an eight claw collet with round cheniers in the gallery, leading to a slender shank which tapers at the shoulders. All in 18k yellow gold.

Accompanied by a diamond report from IGI.

Cut: Old European cut.

Colour: H.

Clarity: VS1.

Carat: 0.99.

Circa: 1920.

Size: K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The diamond is 6.20 x 6.36mm and sits 6.0mm from the finger.

Weight: 2.31 grams.

Metal: 18k gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
