H R Daniel True Tea Trio, C.1825, Pattern 4058, Second Gadroon Shape, Hand-painted Flowers

A fine and rare H R Daniel tea trio, dating to circa 1825, comprising a teacup, coffee cup, and saucer in the second gadroon shape. This exquisite set is decorated in Pattern 4058 with shaped mazarine blue borders, lemon yellow scalloped panels, and finely detailed cross-hatched gilt decoration.
 
The central reserves are hand-painted with vibrant floral bouquets, and the outer decoration features gilt scrolls, fleur-de-lys, and floral sprigs, reflecting the ornate aesthetic of early 19th-century English porcelain.
 
The rims and handles are highlighted in feathered gilding, with a gilt acanthus leaf thumb rest — classic Daniel refinement.

• Saucer – 14.5 cm D
 
Marked with pattern number to the saucer reverse.
 
Condition: Excellent antique condition. Minor gilt wear commensurate with age. No chips or restoration, no glaze crazing.
