The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Stylised gilt patterns decorate the burgundy and salmon, and hanging gilt branches drop into the central shaped reserve festooned with plum berries. In the centre is painted a large spray of garden flowers in bright coloured enamels. Gilded rim and details to the claws of the feet. Unmarked, c.1835.
It measures 24cm (9 7/16") wide by 9cm (3 1/2") deep and 6cm (2 3/8") high.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minor handling wear. There is a tiny firing fault to the rim.
