Description

A good quality nest of 4 tables dating from the early 20th Century. Each table is graduated in size and slots neatly underneath the larger.

They are a traditional Chinese design with rectangular tops standing on square legs joined with nicely carved stretchers and slightly hoofed feet. They have a dark stained finish and each top has a different hand painted floral design.

They are in good condition for their age and are strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and use and the tops of the tables do have some old cup marks and there are some minor knocks here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
