c. 1880 HUGE OIL PORTRAIT PAINTING OF A FEMALE BEAUTY IN A MAGNIFICENT FRAME
Brief Description:
This is a huge, beautiful original 19th-century three-quarter-length Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting an elegantly dressed female beauty.
The pretty, affluent lady is wearing a wonderful cream dress with a lace collar and matching neck scarf.
She is bejewelled in expensive jewellery, including a broach, bracelet, rings, and a large bangle with a type of sovereign coin in the centre.
The all-original Painting is signed in the lower right corner, but we can not quite make out the signature.
It is mounted within the original and exceptional, deeply carved giltwood and gesso scrolled frame.
The piece measures a whopping 13 cm in depth and is embellished with gilt foliate carvings and decorative gadrooning.
