A late Victorian 2 drawer writing table in mahogany dating from circa 1900. In well-figured mahogany, the top is fitted with a tooled green leather writing surface. To the freeze there are a pair of drawers (lockable with key supplied), fitted with brass handles. Standing on elegant ring-turned legs which terminate in brass and ceramic castors.

Solid and sturdy, good colour and original patina. Various marks and wear commensurate with age. Comes with working key. The handles are period replacements (a few filled in screw marks) One of the casters is brass not ceramic.
