A fine example of an early fruitwood ''shoe'' snuff box, with attractive brass piquet pattern to the toe and the underside.....and also the word ''Love'' on the sliding lid....the snuff shoe is in very good condition with a wonderful colour that you find with ''aged'' fruitwood.
English C1840-60.
