Antique Early Metalware 17thc Single Large Bronze Mortar Cast With The Fleur-de-lis Six Times. English C1640-50.

£375    $505    €432
A very impressive example of a large bronze mortar, from the mid 17thc cast with two handles and also the fleur-de-lis six times....it really is a beautiful mortar for its size and has a very good natural colour and no cracks or damage....would look stunning on a piece of period oak furniture...made in London from an unidentified foundry.

English. C1640-50. (Provenance of a private collection.)
