A charming Georgian painted mahogany tea caddy; beautifully hand painted throughout with neoclassical motifs including threads of pearls, rosettes and laurel leaves set within a barber''s pole stringing and crossbanded in mahogany. The top retaining its original axe head handle and raised on the original ormolu ball feet.
