The bezel surround is slightly sloped towards the edges, leading down towards the lugs. The lugs are slightly recessed into the case to cover the top of the strap. Original Omega winding crown and start/stop pusher. A screw down case back with a central raised body. Case reference 145.010.

The watch is powered by a 17 jewel caliber 865 Omega mechanism. This particular model of the Chronostop is much rarer, being the drivers edition - with the mechanism and dial rotated to be read with ease whilst gripping a steering wheel. This watch is a particular rarity as it has been preserved with its original Omega racing strap and buckle, operating instructions, international guarantee and is accompanies with an inner and outer Omega service box.
