A late c.18th burr walnut and parcel gilt fretwork pier-glass wall mirror. This George III period mirror features a well figured burr walnut veneered fretwork frame, an oblong mirror plate with a gilt leaf moulded wavy inner border, with conforming leaf and flower side pendants, the arched top centred by Prince of Wales feathers cartouche, and shaped apron.
Dimensions:
This frame measures approximately 107.5 cm (42.25'') tall, 55 cm (21.625'') wide, and 3 cm (1.25'') deep. The mirror glass measures 64 cm (25.25'') by 34.5 cm (13.5'').

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This frame is in a good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound. The apron section of the frame with possible replaced veneer, and the bottom right corner with a spilt in the veneer. The outside right, bottom section of the giltwood pendant has been replaced.
