A quite spectacular Georgian sterling silver salver with thick cast acanthus leaf feet and a bold gadroon border made by one of the most important silversmiths of the 19th century. It has a beautifully engraved Armorial to the centre, the engraving is still sharp and defined. It really is a stunning piece of silver and it really is of the highest quality.
The last 3 pictures show a very interesting Heraldic Identification Report for the arms as engraved to the centre of the salver.
