Description

A delightful late 19th century height adjustable stool, crafted in mahogany with elegantly turned splayed legs and a stretchered base united by a thick central turned column, topped with a luxurious deep blue buttoned velvet seat.

The smoothly operating height mechanism allows the seat to be raised or lowered, making it ideal for use as a piano stool, dressing stool or decorative accent piece.

The seat is raised by simply lifting, and lowered by pushing the very sweet little brass button to one side.

Presented in excellent antique condition with only light surface wear to the frame. The velvet seat is recently upholstered. Structurally sound, beautifully clean and ready to place in the home.
