A charming late 19th century Arts & Crafts Sussex style armchair, crafted in beech and ash with an elegant turned spindle back and shaped arms surrounding the hand woven rush seat.

Raised on slightly tapered legs united by a box stretcher, the design reflects the influence of the Aesthetic Movement and vernacular country furniture, expressed through clean Arts & Crafts lines.

Presented in very good antique condition with a warm aged patina and minor wear consistent with age. Structurally all sturdy, clean, and ready to place in the home.
