Description

An unusual pair of Staffordshire lustre pug dogs, c. 1890. Both pug dogs standing on oval bases, and decorated in pink lustre, and wearing black collars, with gilt lockets.

The bases in underglaze cobalt blue, and having single gilt lines.

Height – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.

Length – 13 cm, 5 1/8”.

Depth – 7.5 cm, 3”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
