Description

A stunning George III silver sugar caster, made in London in 1763 by Samuel Wood. It has a detachable top and a full set of hallmarks in the base. It has repousse decoration along with a vacant cartouche. It has a flame shaped finial along with good sized holes to allow the sugar out. Overall it is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. A very useable and collectable piece of Georgian silver.

WEIGHT; 81 grams or 2.6 ozst.
