Antique Silver Chatelaine Box with Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a small sterling silver box with a hinged lid, gilt lined interior and a mirror below the lid. It could have been for patches, snuff or maybe a small compact. There is a small loop on the top for attaching to a fob chain or chatelaine.

It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1921 and the maker Crisford & Norris.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. The hinge is in good order. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
