Antique Silver Paper Clip

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful solid silver paper or letter clip ornately decorated with a cherub surrounded by roses and swags.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1903. The maker's mark is partly worn but looks like it could be for Levi & Salaman. It weighs 44g.

It is in excellent condition for its age and the hinge is strong. There are some minor surface marks and signs of age and use but no major damages. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.
