This is a very high quality pair of solid sterling silver napkin or serviette rings.They are clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1932 with the maker''s mark of Joseph Gloster Ltd. They carry a Patent Number beside the hallmarks - 325841. The engine-turned decoration features slightly fluted and beaded edges with a beautiful horn inner lining. The horn is firmly attached. There is an italicised initial in the cartouche - could be a D, C or T. These napkin rings are in excellent condition. The box is original, the hinges good and the clasp tight.
