A mid/late 19th century gold-tooled and embossed leather GAMES COMPENDIUM for Backgammon, Draughts (& Chess) complete with 30 Draughts & Backgammon pieces; pair of matching gilt-tooled leather shakers and 2 original pairs of bone dice. The board is in excellent condition and probably little used. (So often these are rather badly damaged after many decades of use!) About 16ins 40cms) square. circa 1880
