Good mid C19th burr and pollard oak centre table; James Winter & Sons, London; striking timber with a glorious colour. The burr oak rectangular top with rounded corners above the well figured frieze incorporating a full length concealed drawer centred with a large finely carved roundel of a heraldic lion. Raised on tapering end supports united by a high arch stretcher on plinth bases raised on compressed bun feet with concealed original lignum vitae castors. The top drawer stamped ''James Winter & Sons 151 153 155 Wardour St Soho London''.
