1900 - 1920
Sold by AC Silver
Description

A stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian 0.84 carat ruby, 0.40 carat diamond and platinum ring; part of our collection of Edwardian jewellery.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian ring has been crafted in platinum.

The desirable asymmetrical pierced decorated frame is ornamented with a central feature collet set 0.84ct oval faceted cut ruby.

The feature ruby is encircled by ten impressive pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, accented with a further diamond to the nadir; this versatile ring could be worn with this flourish to the upper or lower portion of the finger.

The tapering ring shoulders are each further ornamented with a pavé set diamond and integrate with the main setting, blending seamlessly with the plain ring shank.

The antique ruby ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (PLAT).

This impressive ruby and diamond ring in platinum is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.

An Edwardian ruby and diamond ring is an elegant choice for romantic milestones, notably 15th and 40th anniversaries. Its antique character and vivid ruby make it a distinctive engagement ring for those who value historic charm and enduring beauty.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Condition

This antique ring is excellent quality, set with an impressive ruby displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence.

The impressive very high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.

This Edwardian ruby and diamond ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with a clear hallmark to the interior of the shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning example of ruby jewellery.
