A stunning, fine and impressive antique 2.93 carat sapphire and 2.05 carat diamond, platinum brooch; part of our diverse antique sapphire jewellery collection.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique bar brooch has been crafted in platinum.

The pierced decorated bar design is ornamented to the centre with horizontal linear array of three individually collet set sapphires, in a combination of oval and round faceted cuts.

The feature sapphire formation is flanked to the upper and lower portions with an individually collet set Old European round cut diamond, incorporated into an interlacing style border.

The border is further ornamented with thirty-eight pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, emanating along the bar brooch design.

Each end of the brooch is embellished with a further collet set oval faceted cut sapphire, in addition to an individually collet set Old European round cut diamond held within the aforementioned border, completing the design.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a platinum hinged pin and clasp.

This antique 1920s sapphire and diamond bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

This impressive sapphire and diamond brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.

This fine and impressive 1920s brooch is excellent quality, set with an impressive sapphire displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence.

The high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance; although the diamonds are clarity graded at P1, they predominantly show no unsightly black inclusions.

This sapphire brooch is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition.
