Description

Handsome George IV mahogany marble top console side table; of unusual neo-classical form with strong proportions giving great presence; the shallow rectangular top in striking Breccia marble housed in a bold mahogany shaped frame with a thumb nail moulding above the cavetto frieze; raised on impressive substantial column legs headed with roundels above tapering flutes terminating in socle feet. The rear with flat pilasters in well figured mahogany with moulded block feet.

English circa 1830

Very good condition with a lovely rich colour
