Description

Qashqai sub-tribe of south west persia,

A large all woollen qashqai rug with a design of three central diamonds each with the geometric qashqai emblem inside each. Notice the darker and lighter blues to each corner quadrant.

Pile is soft with a sheen to it. Full pile with tassel fringes to top end and selvedge to bottom end. Dark blue bound side cords. Overall excellent condition. Cleaned,de-dusted & floor ready.

7 foot 5 inches by 4 foot 11 inches. 226cm X 150cm. At widest points. Selvedges and fringes not measured in size. Wool pile hand knotted onto wool foundations.
