A charming Japanese Edo/Meiji period negoro lacquer netsuke depicting Hotei, one of the seven lucky gods in his typical seated position on a sack, holding an orb, with lovely genuine wear from handling over the years, the himatoshi on the underside separated by a possible artist signature? This beautiful netsuke is in excellent condition and measures 1 ½ inches in length.
