A Superb Queen Anne Dognose Silver Tablespoon

A rare silver tablespoon assayed dutin the reign of Queen Anne and almost 325 years old. This wonderful and sought after example is of good gauge silver and is in Dog nose pattern, with a rat-tail to the reverse of the bowl. It has handsome dot engraved initials 'P over H E' and is bottom marked (hallmarks at the bottom reverse of the handle). The spoon is of good proportions and gauge and spoons in good condition, dating from this period are always sought after. A wonderful collector's piece, still usable today. Dimensions below.
