This 19th Century MAHOGANY BOW FRONT CHEST OF DRAWERS dates from circa 1850.

It has original handles, unusual wooden escutcheons and a deceptively large bottom drawer, often referred to as a Bonnet Drawer, which allows extra storage space.

The well-figured Mahogany is a good colour and has a good patina.
