Regency Correction Chair Circa 1825

19th century
Description

Attractive late Regency simulated rosewood correction chair with shaped top rail cross back and with oval cane seat. Raised on fine turned legs with kick out and with turned stretchers. The back decorated with small brass patera and with brass backs to turnings. All in superb un-touched original condition with no breaks. Lovely deep honey colour with great waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.

Size; 40" high, 16" wide, 11" deep.
