The term ''Nim-Suzani'' refers the smaller format suzani. Nim-Suzanis often run the risk of being a little cluttered in their composition. However, this lovely example has perfect balance. The field design is flowing and elegant while the flowers in the border are beautifully executed and well-spaced. Note also the variety of flowers, a subtle indication of fine workmanship, and the saz-type leaves. The silk embroidery has survived in good condition with only some minor losses. The cotton background is also in good condition with only some minor areas of restoration. The original lining on the back is intact.
