The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Gilt dentil border inside the rims and the cup with gilt bands around the outside of the rim and to the foot and a stylised acanthus leaf to the handle. Both marked SPODE in red script and the pattern number 3830.
The cup measures 7.4cm (2 15/16") rim to rim and 6.3cm (2 1/2") high and the saucer measures 14.1cm (5 9/16") wide.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear.
