Boxed hallmarked solid silver 1/2 pink tankard mug.
Full London hallmark to the tankard with the date letter for 1919 and the makers mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths & Co Ltd of 112 Regent Street, London. One of the top silversmiths of the period and highly collected. The name is also stamped to the base of the tankard and the silk lining of the box.
The half pint tankard is decorated with engine turned ring details around the body and a scrollwork handle. It has a blank cartouche to the front.
It stands 3 1/32 inches 7.8 cm tall, 2 5/8 inches 6.8 cm in diameter at the top rim and 2 7/8 inches 7.4 cm at the base and 4 inches 10 cm handle to rim.
The silver weight is 143 grams.
Excellent condition, no damage or repairs. No engraving bar the decoration.
In it''s original fitted box which is also in excellent condition.
