Antique Cyma full hunter pocket watch, super condition.

The watch has a good quality movement, 15-jewels, 3 adjustments, which is working nicely. The movement has a US patent date of May 1904, this relates to a patent applied for by the inventor Henri Sandoz for a stem winding and setting mechanism with “an extremely limited number of parts to make its action reliable and extremely simple”. Henri Sandoz formed a business relationship with the Schwob brothers and Cyma was officially registered in 1903.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison, and it is in beautiful condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in super condition.

The signed dial is in superb condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
