Stuart Oak High Back Chair Circa 1680

Description

Fine Stuart oak high back chair with carved cresting and rail back with turned side uprights. Paneled wood seat and raised on finely turned legs united at front with turned stretcher and plain side stretchers. All in fine original condition with no replacement parts. Lovely deep rich colour with glowing waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.

Size; 51" high, 18" wide, 17" deep. Seat height 18"
